Ilford Public School is located 56 km from Mudgee and 70 km from Lithgow. Ilford Public School is an integral part of a very active rural community that resides in the surrounding areas of Running Stream, Crudine, Mount Vincent and Ilford. The school enjoys a strong relationship with its parent body and various community and district organisations. The school's mission statement was developed in 1995 by the School Council and states that: In a caring, supportive environment we provide students with educational experiences founded on basic skills.
