About Fairfield Primary School

Education WA introduces Fairfield Primary School in Fairfield, for all your education and learning needs.

Fairfield Primary School celebrates 125 years of teaching and learning in 2010. The school's shared vision aims to nurture an enthusiasm for learning. With support and guidance, all students are empowered to take responsibility for their own learning.

The school aims to develop and actively promote optimism for the future in all members of the school community.

Our school has an enrolment of 386 students grouped in Prep classes and in composite classes at Years 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6.

The class programs are supported by a range of specialist programs including visual and performing arts, library, information and communication technology, physical education and our school LOTE is Greek. Support programs include Reading Recovery, literacy intervention and maths support. Students also have access to the support services of a speech pathologist and an educational psychologist.

Our students are also able to participate in a wide range of extra curriculum programs and activities to support their academic progress and their social wellbeing. These include various lunch time activities such as:

  • PALS – Peer Activity Leaders in Schools
  • Singing Club
  • History Detectives Club
  • Art Zone
  • Library-On-Friday
    Other programs include:
  • Instrumental music lessons
  • Junior School Council
  • Grade Prep ‘buddy’ program
  • Premier’s Reading Challenge
  • Greenies Club
  • After school drama class
  • Before school tennis lessons
