Education WA introduces Newman College - Marcellin Campus in Churchlands, for all your education and learning needs.
From Kindergarten through to Year 12 this co-educational Catholic school endeavours to provide students with a sense of community where they feel welcome, accepted, valued and believed in, so they can reach their potential, both as individuals and as members of society.
Owned and governed by the Marist Brothers, whose educational tradition reaches back almost 200 years and is found in 75 countries, Newman College lives out the foundational characteristics of Marist education - Family Spirit; Presence; Love of Work; Simplicity; and In the Way of Mary.
There is a sense of life being shared across the school community, with successes and limitations being readily acknowledged. There is a commitment to the development of the ideals of mutual trust, forgiveness and reconciliation.
The College family spirit respects the dignity and recognises the needs of the young people who attend the school, particularly those who are most vulnerable. Where special needs of any type are identified, these become a particular focus of care and concern.
Newman College reinforces the values children learn from their loving families – values we believe are an essential part of Christian education and of every child’s healthy development.
The College operates on three sites with an integrated administration:
Lavalla Campus (Years 3-6)
216 Empire Avenue
Churchlands WA 6018
Marian Campus (Years K-2)
49 Peebles Road
Floreat WA 6014
Welcome to Newman College - Marcellin Campus one of the popular educators in your Churchlands area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
