Blackwater State School is a coeducational school that caters for students from prep to year seven and is located approximately 200km west of Rockhampton. Blackwater State School was opened in 1967, at this present site as a result of the development of the coal mining industry in Blackwater.
At Blackwater State School, we provide quality learning experiences in a safe, caring and supportive environment. We are committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for every student in our school.
